Plan My Visit
You are welcome here!
Visiting a church for the first time is a big deal, and we are so thankful you are considering checking us out!
We understand the many questions that may come to mind when thinking about visiting a church: What should I wear? Where do I park? Where do my kids go? We've got you covered! We want you to feel completely comfortable when you visit, so take a look at our frequently asked questions below.
If you have any additional questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the church office (309-662-1915) or stop by the Welcome Center when you visit.
Thanks again for taking time to learn more about Bloomington First Church!
When are the services?
Our main worship service starts at 10am on Sunday mornings in our sanctuary. The service typically concludes at 11:15am.
We also have a prayer service that meets Tuesday evenings from 5-7pm.
Where should I park?
We have ample parking in our front parking lot, as well as overflow parking in the lot behind the church.
In addition, our facility is fully wheelchair accessible, and we have several handicapped parking spaces available near the front entrance.
What should I wear?
Please be comfortable and come as you are! We are thrilled that you're joining us and want you to be more focused on the service than on what you are wearing.
In the summertime, it's not uncommon to see people wearing shorts, sandals, and a shirt. Others prefer to put on their "Sunday best" and that's fine too! We think you'll fit in no matter how you dress.
Where do my Kids go?
During our Sunday morning worship service, we provide our First Kids ministry program for children from birth through fifth grade.
When you arrive, you'll be directed to our First Kids Check-in station where a member of our children's team will be happy to answer any questions you may have and help register your children.
